A two mile nature trail covered with crushed rock. A bridle path for horses also runs along side of the main trail. The path is a former railroad right-of-way connecting the communities of Orange City and Alton. Enjoy nature while walking, jogging, biking, or cross-country skiing (in the winter). Plenty of benches line the path. An open-air shelter, picnic tables, restrooms, and drinking fountain at the mid-point can be used as a rest area or picnic location. The mid-point is accessible from Jay Avenue. Another access point is located on county road K-64 on the south side of Orange City, and the third access point is located on the west side of Alton.
